THE GALA - FEB 28, 2009 - 7PM

The Phoenix Guitar Gala will feature a Brazilian Carnaval theme. A formal affair, the event will feature the live Internet auction of the guitars as well as a silent auction. Select artists will be in attendance for this event. The guitars will all be on display. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

THIS IS A SEMI-FORMAL EVENT

The gala on February 28, 2009 will be an intriguing evening of food, drinks, Brazilian music, auction, & live performances to include:

- Capoeira (a Brazilian martial art)
- Maculelê (an Afro Brazilian stick dance)
- Fire dancers
- An escola de samba (or samba school), featuring the ladies of carnaval

All in all, a fabulous carnaval experience. Ticket price includes entrance, paella, various hors d’evours, and a free raffle ticket.
